We woke up Saturday and watched some cartoons such as, SpongeBob and Johnny Test, and played with some of my toys.  Then we ate lunch before we went to baseball practice.  My dad made us macaroni and cheese and gave Cody sausage.  He loved it!!  Then we got ready to go to baseball practice.  I introduced Cody to my coach and team and they thought he was really cool.  But, he watched me practice from the car because I did not want to get him dirty.  After practice, we came home and we played outside for a little bit before the rain came.  At 7:30, we went for an Easter Egg Hunt.  The hunt was a lot of fun and we found tons of eggs, but just when we found our last egg, the skies opened up and we ran to get into the car.  We were so excited about our eggs, we opened them up after we got home and ate some candy.  Then we went to bed.

Sunday morning Cody helped me make breakfast.  I make the eggs every Sunday morning and today Cody helped me.  After we made the eggs, he helped me eat them!  Then we had a great time going to Evan’s house for the afternoon. We had so much fun!  We ran around inside, played a singing competition, went on the play set, and rode a scooter.   However, we did have a little scare because Cody was in the golf cart and we couldn’t find him.  Then my mom came to pick us up and we went home where we ate dinner, took a bath, and went to bed.  (Cody didn’t get a bath).  I had a great weekend with Cody.  Bye Cody!

Saturday, I had blueberry pancakes for breakfast and Cody finished his scooby snacks. Next, we went and played in the yard, but I got cold so we went back inside. The rest of the day Cody and I played mostly inside with my brother and sister. We drew some pictures with markers, played some super mario on the Wii, and played with legos. Saturday night, Cody stayed at home while my family and I went to church. He was so glad to see me when I got back home.

Sunday, Cody and I watched Cartoons and then played legos with my little brother.  We went to lunch at Dickey’s and then ran some errands. Cody is a great friend and a lot of company!  He can come back to my house anytime.

 On Saturday we had lots of errands to run.  Cody stayed at home and played with Loki and Leo. 

On Sunday Cody was busy with me.  It was so nice outside that Cody came outside and helped me garden.  We were busy pulling u p weeds in the strawberry patch.  Then we went inside and then we went to help my Dad in the garage. Cody also helped me make “potions” with mud, water, leaves, and whatever else we could find.  Then Cody wanted to try my favorite activity…climbing the tree in the front yard.  Cody was a little unsure about going so high, but I held him tight and we went almost to the top.

On Friday, Cody enjoyed Chinese food with us at our house. He liked the chicken with broccoli and egg rolls the best. I made sure I introduced Cody to Jaq and Gus, my kitties. They rubbed their heads on him and thought he was soft and snuggly.

On Saturday, my family and I went to Cary. Of course Cody came along. We went to BJ’s, Sweet Tomato’s, and Petsmart. Cody loved looking at all the other pets waiting to be adopted. That night, Cody and I slept over at my Grandma’s house. Cody had a great time!

On Sunday, I jumped on my trampoline with Cody, my brother, and my friend, Malena. Cody tried to jump higher than all of us. I’ll be sad to see Cody go, but I know he’ll have fun going to another house next weekend! I hope Cody has as much fun as I did

Saturday morning we ate at home because it was really cold outside. Cody and I played Wii almost all day and we watched movies also. We also took some pictures with our Christmas tree. Than my dad came home from work in the afternoon and Cody, my dad, and me went to a Chinese Restaurant and we also watched a movie.

Sunday we woke up and ate breakfast at home. Then after that we went to Church together. We got home than I read the book Fast Dan to Cody. I really enjoyed having Cody over my house because he gave me a lot of company over the weekend!!!  Thanks for being with me, Cody!!!

Last week I spent the weekend with Julia and her family. Friday evening we went to church to watch a movie and eat pizza. That was fun! On Saturday we spent time together just hanging out. Julia has this cute little dog named Freddy. He is a little bigger than me and snuggles good. Julia’s daddy took some pictures of Julia, freddy and me snuggling on the couch. On Sunday we went to church. I sat quietly in Julia’s lap. That afternoon we visited with Julia’s grandma. She is nice.

I had fun visiting Julia and her family. Can’t wait to see where I end up next!!

We played in Anna’s bedroom with her sisters, Karina, Gia and Maria and then headed outside. Anna just learned to ride a two wheeler so she took me for a ride. It was a lot of fun! We also jumped rope and I got to meet and play with all her friends in her neighborhood. Anna’s sister, Gia, had soccer practice so we went to the park and played for a little while. Boy were we tired when we got home. Anna and I cuddled up and went to sleep in her Hannah Montana sleeping bag!

Saturday we had a very fun and busy day. Anna and all her sister’s play soccer so off we went to all the games. Anna sure is good-she scored four goals in her game. Her team’s name is the Avalanche. I was so tired after all the excitement I took a nap when we got home while Anna played outside with her sister and friends. After dinner her family and I ate popcorn and watched the movie Marmaduke! If you haven’t seen it yet, you sure have too. It was so funny. Anna was so tired from her day she actually fell asleep and missed the end of the movie, but I stayed up for it all. Those dogs and cats cracked me up. Anna’s mom brought us to her room and off to sleep I went too.

Up and at it again on Sunday. Anna and her sister’s helped her parents clean the house after breakfast. I wasn’t much help so I watched cartoons instead. The weather was so beautiful we went outside and played all afternoon. We went for a bike ride around her neighborhood and ended up at her friend Lily’s house. Lily’s mom cut up apples and we went across the street and fed Buddy, a horse! It was so cool. Anna was really excited because she never had a chance to feed a horse before, just pet them.

I had a great time this weekend at Anna’s house, meeting new friends, learning about soccer, and seeing all the fun things Anna likes to do and play with. I sure hope I am asked to visit with her again!

Saturday Sept. 11, 2010
Today we got up and went to Evan’s soccer game. She is on a team called the Toads. She is a really good soccer player. She scored 2 goals!! I cheered really loudly for her. Her sister Everly is on her team and her cousin Dean is too. They are really good also! Her team won the game. After the game, we came home and played all afternoon. We enjoyed being outside in the nice weather. Also, I got to meet Evan’s dog, Clooney. He is a fun guy. He smelled me a lot!! Evan took a picture of the three of us on the couch! We ate dinner that night and went to bed. I was very tired!!

Sunday Sept. 12, 2010
Today was another great day! I played with Evan and her sisters. They played hospital and Evan pretended to have a broken arm. We all bandaged her and took care of her. I got lost for a little while, but they found me!! YAY!! I was kidding them and I hid. I went over to her cousins’ house and we had a blast!!! Evan is a very fun girl and a great hostess!! I can’t wait for my next adventure!!

Cassy also read him books, introduced him to her other animal friends on her bed and kissed him Goodnight, every night.

Cody was very taken care of, Cassy will be a great mommy, I can already tell.
Cody is welcomed back anytime!

Saturday – It was a beautiful day outside today, so Cody and I got plenty of play time outdoors.  We rode my bike, played on my swing set, and ran around the yard.  We also helped pull weeds and work in the yard.  After lunch we helped bake some oatmeal cookies.  I let Cody wear my doll’s apron that matches the one that I wear when I help in the kitchen.  We got to eat some cookies still warm from the oven.  They were yummy!  After that I showed Cody how to play some games on the Wii until dinner time.  After dinner it was time for bath, books and then bed.

Sunday – This morning we got to see a deer!  We looked out of the window and there was a deer in our yard.  Cody and I watched her eat leaves off of the trees until she finally got scared and ran away.  After breakfast we went to church.  Cody liked meeting all of my friends there.  After church we went with some of our friends to eat lunch at a Mexican restaurant.  Cody shared my cheese quesadilla and nachos.  I didn’t let him have any salsa though, because I was afraid he would drip it on his nice clean fur.  After we got home we got to play outside again until dinner.

Monday – Cody got to spend an extra day with us because it was a holiday weekend and there was no school today.  This morning we played in my room all morning.  We played with Play-Doh, board games, dress-up, dolls, and played some music on my CD player.  After lunch we played some sports on the Wii.  For dinner we grilled hamburgers and hot dogs outside. Cody and I played outside while we waited to eat.   I had such a great time with Cody this weekend!  I will be very sad to see him go, but I know that my friends from school will get to enjoy him at their houses too!  I hope Cody can come back to visit my house again someday.

Saturday: Cody and I got up early and had pancakes and yogurt for breakfast. Then my Mom took us to the Holly Springs Library to watch a movie called Ponyo. It was really good! Then Cody and I picked out some books and did a little reading. We found some books about trains, dinosaurs, dogs (Cody’s pick), and an I Spy book that was lots of fun. We went to Subway for lunch. I shared my M&M cookie with Cody – he loved it! When we got home it was too hot to play outside, so we found some things to do inside. We drew pictures for awhile. I drew a picture of Cody and he drew one of me. Then Cody and I played school with my sister until it was dinner time. After dinner we went to Sunni Sky’s for some ice cream. I usually get chocolate but this time I got vanilla – I didn’t want Cody to get dirty when he shared with me! We both thought it was really good! When we got home we did some puzzles and read books. We read a funny book called Where Did the Dinosaurs Go? It made us laugh. Then we played around in my room until it was time for bed.

Sunday: Cody and I slept in a little late and then had more pancakes for breakfast. I’m glad Cody loves pancakes because I eat them every morning! Then we watched cartoons for a little while. Cody really likes Clifford. It was too hot to play outside again today, so we had to find more fun things to do inside. We spent all day playing with toys, reading books, playing computer games, and building with legos. My sister helped us build a train station with the legos. After dinner we made snickerdoodle cookies. Cody and I did all the pouring and mixing. It was fun. The cookies turned out delicious! Then we decided to keep playing legos until bed time. I made a special bed for Cody with my other animals. I loved sharing my weekend with Cody. I hope he will come visit me again!

This is Cody, the mascot of Miss Schmidt’s Kindergarten class (wise choice, you think?).  He lives at Ballentine Elementary until the weekends, when he gets to visit a new friend’s house (the stuffed one, not the real one)!  He’s so lucky!  He gets to play with all of the friends, go to soccer games, eat yummy food, and meet lots of stuffed animal friends.  Just make sure you bring him back on Monday so that he can keep learning all of the kindergarten stuff you guys are learning!
